Description
Training Program details:
- Short program with 700 hours of full-time training, 5 evenings a week (16h00 – 22h30), or days (8h45 - 15h30) spread over 24 weeks.
- If a student meets the conditions, he/she may qualify for a bursary if registered for the program prior to December 15, 2023, for the groups starting January 18th, 2024 - AEP-4766
- $750 per week, paid bi-weekly, for the duration of the training (comparable to the entry-level salary
in the construction industry).
- You must have been out of school for at least a year (except for FGA students who have successfully completed their prerequisites) to be admitted to the STC.
- First come, first serve, for students who have completed their application with all the supporting documents requested.
- That applications will be accepted from October 30, 2023, until December 15, 2023.
- That only complete applications will be processed from November 3 to December 15, 2023.
- As of October 30, 2023, you must not have attended an educational institution for at least twelve months (this includes secondary school, vocational training centre, college or CEGEP and university).
Applicants must be permanent residents or Canadian citizens (who reside in Quebec). Unfortunately, this training is not available to asylum seekers, refugees and international students.

You are eligible for this program if you meet the following requirements:
Have successfully completed your Secondary IV language and mathematics courses
OR
Hold an Attestation of Equivalence of Secondary Studies
(AESS)
OR
Have passed the General Development Test (GDT) without
specific pre-requisites
