Description

This Hands-On air conditioning and refrigeration course is to provide a broad introduction to air conditioning and refrigeration systems. 

Total Hours of Program: 630 hours

Students taking this program are eligible for financial support (bursary) through the Government.

Préalables requis

Admission requirements for the refrigeration fast-track course are as follows:

• hold a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent (e.g., attestation of equivalent level of schooling) or a higher education diploma, such as a college diploma or bachelor's degree;
  
  OR
• have obtained at least the secondary 4 credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics, or have achieved a recognized equivalent;
  
  OR
• have passed the General Development Test (GDT) with the following specific prerequisites in language of instruction and mathematics:
  • FRA-2102-2 or FRA-2033-1 in adult education (language of instruction),
  • 132-308 or 128-316 in youth education (language of instruction),
  • MAT-3053-2 or MAT-3016-2 in adult education (mathematics),
  • 063-306 or 068-314 in youth education (mathematics);

AND

• have interrupted their studies for at least 12 months;
  
  OR
• attend or have attended Adult General Education (AGE) courses during this period.
