Our program will provide a basic and advanced understanding of hairdressing techniques. You will acquire a comprehensive range of skills to assess clients’ needs.

Once successfully completed all previous competencies that lead to practicum (which classes consist of regular lectures, demonstrations, and practice of skills on client day), students engage in a three-week practicum in a partnered ship salon or salon of their choice. Students will have opportunities to experience and participate in the day-to-day task of salon lift. Safety and hygienic practices are emphasized, reinforced, and practiced throughout the practicum. Some students will have the opportunity to also venture into other skills, such as Shampooing the hair, hair & scalp treatments, coloring the hair, etc.
