Aircraft pilots, more commonly referred to as airplane or helicopter pilots, fly or co-pilot airplanes or helicopters. They plan visual and instrument flights and analyze aeronautic charts and meteorological information. They communicate with passengers and ensure liaison with ground handling. It is an exciting profession for people who enjoy solving problems with an aptitude for science. A career as an aircraft pilot requires good vision, excellent health, fluency in English and French, a serious, cautious, responsible personality and the ability to handle stress.
