Medical imaging technologists (radiodiagnosis), also referred to as radiographic technicians, administer medical imaging exams (conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, echography, computerized axial tomography, MRI, etc.) that allow radiologists to establish their diagnosis. They prep and accompany patients for tests and process diagnostic images. This is an essential profession that requires an aptitude for science, empathy and listening skills. A career as a medical imaging technologist is suited to people who have good analytical and synthesis skills and who enjoy working with the public.
