Program Objectives

The Aircraft Maintenance program aims to train technicians to work in an aircraft organization, repair centres, and manufacturing centres. These technicians will be able to provide maintainance on motors, aircraft, propellers and helicopters. They will also assure the maintenance of aircraft, flight controls and instrumentation systems. Aircraft maintenance technicians will also perform unplanned inspection in addition to performing the activities related to the design and manufacturing of aircraft components.

Total length of training includes general training that is common to all programs for 420 hours, general training for this program for 150 hours as well as complementary general training courses for 90 hours.

Duration of training consists of theory and lab work for courses; personal time that the student invests is excluded.

Aircraft Mechanic and Inspector

Aircraft mechanics, also referred to as aircraft inspectors, inspect and verify different components and systems on aircrafts and helicopters (hydraulic systems, navigation systems, engines, turbines, structures, etc.). They detect technical issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and produce technical reports. A career as an aircraft mechanic requires a responsible, meticulous and self-reliant personality. It’s a stimulating job for people interested in new technologies who enjoy problem solving.
