Program Objectives

Over the course of their training, the student will learn to create, plan and design spaces or specific locations (display windows, shop designs, sales space, thematic decor, etc.) made to promote a product or advertise an item or services, or an idea, all withing a commercial or cultural context. The candidate will also learn to promote a concept while keeping in mind the objectives of the project, the content that needs to be promoted, the budget, the space and also incorporate technical and artisitic aspects.

Total length of training includes general training that is common to all programs for 420 hours, general training for this program for 150 hours as well as complementary general training courses for 90 hours.


Duration of training consists of theory and lab work for courses; personal time that the student invests is excluded.

Exhibit Designer

Exhibit designers, also referred to as display designers or stylists, design decorations for events and thematic decors. They create mockups, lay out window displays and exhibition booths, make accessories and decor elements, and set up lighting in exhibit spaces. It is a creative profession that suits versatile, resourceful and organized people. A career as an exhibit designer also requires communication and drawing skills, and a good sense of aesthetics.
