To use the following tools: milling machine, lathe, boring machine, grinding machine, correcting grinding machine; to make and repair cutting tools, guide and drilling templates, etc.; to make machinists special tools; to apply tracing, tooling and assembling methods; to apply the total quality concept.

Toolmaker

Toolmakers trace, adjust and assemble parts to manufacture and repair cutting tools, guides, assembly jigs or drilling jigs to produce single or small series metal parts. They analyze drawings of parts to be designed and adjust machine tools to produce the desired parts. As part of their tasks in a workshop or factory, they may have to perform maintenance on machine tools. It is a meticulous and precise job that requires logic, good observation skills and method. A career as a toolmaker is suitable for people who enjoy working with objects.
