Stonecutters create, restore and repair architectural elements from stone: arches, archways, stairs, columns, etc. They extract granite, marble and limestone slabs from quarries, saw and handle stone blocks and create decorative elements: mantels, stelas, urns, etc. This is a rewarding trade for people who are good at drawing, meticulous and have good manual dexterity. A job in construction as a stonecutter requires stamina, as you may have to work in challenging physical conditions.
